In Viking Rush you run from the start to the end of the level and then return, requiring obstacles to work coming from both ways.
The first jump is also the last one when coming from the opposite direction, so increasing the difficulty throughout the level was quite challenging but also very fun.
Viking Rush was the first collaborative game project I have been involved in. Working together with programmers, artists and other designers requires, even for a small project, a lot of planning. Since we tackle problems differently, I found it very important to try putting myself into the minds of my teammates and be very clear in my communication to avoid misunderstandings.
